Welcome to Zigger Zagger

A football diary in curious times

Welcome to Zigger Zagger -  a diary and more, using this season as an excuse to reflect on many years watching football. Although based largely around the trials and tribulations of Nottingham Forest, it is not exclusively a Forest thing. Expect rants, nonsense, politics and state of the game and nation musings. Opinions are just as I see them at the time. I might even change my mind the next day. Some of them are probably very poorly thought through, but well intentioned at the time. Anything remotely negative about any individual or club  is almost certainly tongue-in-cheek and meant with a bit of affection, yes even Derby! There is too much hate. Part of why I’m here is a belief that there needs to be a ‘better’ football. Visitors’ views are very welcome, but no ‘isms or -phobic stuff, please. There’s more than enough of that on Twitter!
